The best way to get away with cookie stuffing is to find an affiliate program that is not well known (to the blackhatters at least) and target your marketing.

To find a new affiliate program to stuff you will need to get creative. An effective method I have found is to search Google.

forums and affiliate program

The above is a search term to help find a site that has both user forums and an affiliate program. You will have to sort through the results to find good things. Just search in Google and browse the results looking for a gold nugget of information you can use to get rich. You can try different variations of the search term such as

discussion forums and join our affiliate program

forums and join our affiliate program

fitness and affiliate program and forums

It may take some time but in a few hours you could come up with a big list of potential affiliate programs to stuff.

Another method is to look at the advertisers in forums. Click the banner ads and see if the advertiser has an affiliate program. If so you could join it and stuff on the forum with the ad and then move on to finding more forums promoting that affiliate program.

Some of the big affiliate programs people stuff are

ClickBank

CommissionJunction

Ebay Partner Network

Amazon Associates

If you already have traffic to your own website and use an affiliate program on that website try cookie stuffing for that affiliate program on your site to increase your income. If you are buying PPC traffic, why not cookie stuff on your landing page for an extra chance to make your campaign profitable. Be careful when buying PPC clicks as there is always of chance of being banned and losing the amount spent on PPC.

There are a million ways to cookie stuff but the simplest and most effective is to integrate cookie stuffing with your other projects.

I have included a list of affiliate programs in the zip that have worked well for some people.

Research from a company called Enquiro found that there is a significant amount of confusion with Internet users over the difference between sponsored links and natural (organic) search results. The results of the study are as follows:

77% of the participants when asked to conduct product research chose an organic (natural) search result listing over a paid result

When switching to purchase mode 67% of participants chose a natural listing over the paid listings

Google users: 85% chose a natural result

Google users have the lowest rate of confusion and tended to be more internet savvy

42% of non-Google results (Yahoo! and MSN) chose a sponsored link over an organic result

Conversion ratios are 25% higher than paid search results according to a study released by Marketing Sherpa

According to the Nielsen/Net Ratings in March 2005: Google – 47%; Yahoo! – 20.9%; MSN – 13.6%

If you only focus on Google you are missing out on 53% of the market

58% of Google users also do cross-searching on Yahoo! or MSN

What happens if a potential customer sees your site on Google but youre are not listed with Yahoo! or MSN when they search there? What if they see your paid listing in Google, but view it as less than relevant? If you are found across multiple engines, your credibility and relevancy immediately receives a boost.

Males are more likely to be loyal to one search engine (Google) than females (Google, Yahoo!, MSN)

Males prefer Google

Females prefer MSN

A trusted site with UNBIASED information with the natural search was the strongest preference across all users

The more educated the user, the higher percentage of use of Google

Target Google with technology/high end products

What This Means To You

Both paid and Organic campaigns are vital to your project. You cant ignore one, you must do both to get solid coverage. If you have a client who only wants to do paid search and not invest in an organic search campaign, this information should show them why they need organic search as they are missing on 70% of the clicks.

What You Should Do

Concentrate an organic campaign with Google and use Yahoo! Search Marketing (YSM) – (formerly Overture) to run a paid search campaign. According to testing results, this gives you the best overall coverage without breaking the budget. Google will supply you with the best quality visitors through organic search, as their users typically click on the organic listings at a high rate, and the PPC campaign through YSM will give you the market reach you need without investing heavily in organic cross promotion.

Finally, remember that there are lies, damn lies, and statistics (attributed to Mark Twain). Just because you have results from a survey does not mean you should change your campaign to fit the above. Test. Observe the results, and then make changes based on YOUR observations. Every market is different, visitor behavior constantly changes. Your best ally will always be testing. I can tell you for certain, that in some industries that I market heavily in, Google is highly ineffective and Yahoo! is a high converter. Run some test landing pages with the changes suggested above, drive traffic and analyze the results. If, from your small sample, you see a positive result compared to your current numbers, expand the test to verify the outcome. Once verified, start implementing the changes and observe closely.

What I want you to get from this is, dont take anyones word for it. Test it yourself. Too many people in forums read the information as if it was the gospel truth. Test it. Find out for yourself. Our business is built on testing results and informing our clients of the results. But we always say, Dont take our word for it, verify the results. With the number of domains we own and the number of testing servers we have, I am very confident in the results and information I give you. If you get into the habit of always verifying the information you receive, you will always be one step ahead of your competition as you will never go down the wrong path again.

Testing Results

With the above being stated, how does it match up with our testing? I will outline it and give you our numbers. Again, remember that every industry is different and while I cannot disclose the industries that we heavily market, you can compare these numbers to yours.

Overture PPC average: $0.42
Overture Conversion Ratio: 4.8%

Google PPC average: $0.71
Google Conversion Ratio: 3.6%
Google Organic Conversion Ratio: 0.13%

Yahoo! Organic Conversion Ratio: 0.07%

MSN Organic Conversion Ratio: 0.05%

As you can see from these figures, Overture provides a lower CPC and a higher conversion ratio than Google. This is consistent with our test domains as well as our clients that we manage. It should be noted that we only go after low hanging fruit keywords as they are generally cheaper with high ROI.

Why the low conversion ratios on the organic listings? This is due to a high percentage of traffic that is not qualified. In reviewing the web stats of our test domains, only 32% of the search engine traffic comes from qualified search phrases. If you review your web stats, you should see the same types of numbers. Now, by using only the keywords that we also use in the PPC campaigns, the conversion ratios jump to 7.2% for Google, 8.4% in Yahoo! and 6.2% in MSN. Organic listings convert better than paid listings, however, paid listings receive more traffic in Yahoo! and MSN due to their placement on the page.

Things you need:

1. An Adult Friend Finder affiliate account.

2. A website. If you don’t have a website, a blogger site will do just fine, and is what I use.

3. A means of driving traffic to your site.

Use the following text on your site or blogger page. Change it up as you see fit but keep the steps generally the same.

How to Get a Free Adult Friend Finder Gold Membership

The Ultimate Adult Personals Free Loophole To Gold Membership This loophole will give you free gold membership to the largest sex and swingers site in the world

Step1
If you follow our step-by-step tutorial, you will know why Adult Friend Finder is the most popular hookup spot on the internet, well at least for the Gold Members, which you will soon be!

The guide below grant you full access and we will show you how to complete the steps, step-by-step, without fail. It’s important to follow the steps correctly, failure to do so will result in wasted time.

This is a loophole in the system, how long will it be open, who knows, however it is smart to take advantage while you can.

Step2
Click here to go to the signup page, then click the button near the center of the page that says “Join Free / Sign Up Now”. This is a critical part of the process and must be done even if you already have an adult friend finder account. This will take you to the two-page signup form. This should only take a minute or two to complete depending on how much detail you get into with your profile. Remember you can always more fully fill out your profile later.

Once the two pages have been filled out, you will receive an email with your login information and a link to confirm your email address. Click on the confirmation link, them come back here, and log in to the right.

Step3
You should now be logged into your account. Along the top menu bar, there is a link “My Account” click it. On this page is a category “Points” and below that there is a link “Redeem Your Points”. Click it.

On the left side of the page you are now looking at will show your points, and below that you want to look for the link “Register On Other Sites”. Click It.

You will see 16 sites available for you to register at. This actually is very easy as they auto fill 98% of your info into the registration boxes. Sign up for each and every one of these sites. You can use a discarded email address for this. This whole process will not take you more than 4 minutes.

Step4
Now you will start to get email messages asking you to confirm each and every account you just signed up for, you don’t have to confirm them, you can just delete them if you want.

Now that you are done with that, go back to the “My Account” page, and from there go back to “Redeem Your Points”, and viola, you should have 4000 points, if not you probably did something wrong, and you can only blame yourself for that.

Ok, on the page you are looking at, there should be a table of “Prizes”. If you indeed have 4000 points, Look for the prize, 1 month gold membership, and beside it click redeem. (If you did something wrong, and have less than 4000 points, see if you have enough to get 1 month of silver membership, or try to go through the steps again)

Step5
Now you have to play the waiting game, you have to wait for the site to approve your profile, and you will have full access to the entire site and all its features.

Now, to ensure you can get another month free down the road, keep active on the site, tell your friends about the site, and build points. That way you can get another month free. It doesn’t take much effort.

What happens with the above steps is that you get credit for each site in the Medley network that the person signs up with.

Where you see the two bolded here’s in step two, insert a link to a site you own (I use a subdomain) and use the following code to redirect to AFF with your affiliate ID, while keeping your original address in the url bar.

Code:

<html><head></head>

<frameset rows='100%, *' frameborder=no framespacing=0 border=0>
<body>

<frame src="http://adultfriendfinder.com/go/YOUR-AFF-ID" name=mainwindow frameborder=no framespacing=0 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0>
</frame>

<noframes><h2>Your browser does not support frames. We recommend
upgrading your browser.</h2><br><br><center>Click <a href="http://adultfriendfinder.com/go/YOUR-AFF-ID >here
</a> to enter the site.</center></noframes>
</body>
</html>

Now you just need a way to drive traffic to your site or blog and the rest will take care of itself. I’ve partnered up with a couple of members at bhw who ran xrumer campaigns for me, and it was a great way to drive traffic to my blog. I also do some pretty heavy stuffing from my blogger blog, however, stuffing AFF is not really necessary since they are going to be clicking on your affiliate link but feel free to stuff AFF too if you would like.

Make sure that you promote “Option II Percentage Program” with AFF, if you try to promote the per click program, you will just get quickly converted to the percentage program.

This is working well for me, although not as well as it used to. The residual comes from people actually paying for silver and gold memberships, and later renewing. I’ve had 5 paid signups in the last three days, and have had as many as 6 paid signups in one day.

Again, this will not get you rich but is a nice little steady stream of extra income. Please let me know if you have any questions or sugestions.

I recommend placing this at the top of your control page. You don’t want to block affiliate managers from viewing your site all-together. You only want to prevent them from being stuffed.

That’s all you need to block people from specific areas. No need to download a 30mb .dat file and drive yourself crazy configuring it.

Another use for this is if you were promoting an offer that only accepts US traffic – you could display an alternative offer.

This method is very powerful and can make you a lot of money with very little effort in a short time.

It could also get you banned from AdWords and your Network really quick, so use it with caution and only if you absolutely have to.

For example, if you can’t pay your Hosting, use it to make $200 quickly.

It is well known that Trademarks and Brands are the most profitable keywords, this is why most companies do not allow their affiliates to bid on them.

If you try to bid on a trademarked term using Google AdWords, the system will not allow you to do so. This is because the company owning the brand has asked Google to restrict it.

Step 1: Keywords

When you enter the trademarked term as a keyword into your Adgroup the system will detect the term and it will not display your ads.

So, to get around this, when you enter your keywords into your Adgroup,

for the keyword write

“t.r.a.d.e.m.a.r.k”

or

“t-r-a-d-e-m-a-r-k”

instead of

“trademark”

This should work most of the time. (There are exceptions.)

The system will not recognize the branded term, but when it comes to matching your keywords it will just ignore the dots or dashes and display your Ad for the search term “trademark”.

——————————————————————————

Step 2: Ad Text

If you want to enter the trademark into your Ad text the system again will recognize the term and not allow you to do it.

The way around is the {ifsearch} parameter.

I will not explain here what this parameter is for and how it works, but you can look it up if you are interested.

The way you write your ad is this:

Trad{ifsearch}emark
Looking for Trad{ifsearch}emark?
Buy Here Now Today!
www.trademark.com

instead of:

Trademark
Looking for Trademark?
Buy Here Now Today!
www.trademark.com

As you can see, you have to insert {ifsearch} somewhere inside of the trademark term.

Now the system can not detect the trademarked term in your ads, but when the ad is displayed to the searcher the {ifsearch} will not be displayed and the searcher will only see “Trademark”.

Keep in mind however that the {ifsearch} is counted to the number of the allowed characters in your Ad text, so for the Headline you have only 15 characters left since the {ifsearch} already uses 10 characters.

——————————————————————————

Step 3: Referer

So far, so good. Now you have to fake the referer. If you do not fake the referer the company owning the trademark can look at the records of the network and see that your clicks are coming from Google Search and the keywords you have used.

I do this using a Perl script. I have tried Meta Refreshes and double Meta Refreshes, but Perl has worked most reliably for me.

This has also been confirmed by my Aff. Manager at CJ.

This is the script, save it with the extension .cgi

——————————————————————————

#!/usr/bin/perl -w
# redir.cgi
$| = 1;

use strict;
use CGI::Carp qw(fatalsToBrowser);
use HTTP::Request::Common qw(GET POST);
use LWP::UserAgent;

my $ua = new LWP::UserAgent;
$ua->agent(“Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”);

my $url = ‘INSERT YOU AFFILIATE LINK HERE’;
my $req = GET $url, Referer => “http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=non-trademark&btnG=Google-Suche&meta=”;
$req->header(‘Accept’ => ‘text/html’);
my $res = $ua->request($req);

if ($res->is_success) {
print “Location: $urlnn”;
} else {
print “Error: ” . $res->status_line . “n”;
}

——————————————————————————

There are three important parameters here:

$ua->agent

This will allow you to fake the user agent, you can change this to whatever you like.

my $url

Here you put in the URL you want to redirect to, your affiliate URL.

my $req

This enables you to change the referer. In the above example this is what the referer would look like if the searcher would be be coming from Google Search Germany, using a German Browser and would have searched for the term “non-trademark”. You can look at the url field of your browser after doing a search to find out how this should look like in your situation. You could also change the referer to “http://www.facebook.com/”.

——————————————————————————

Since Google AdWords is my bread and butter I only use this very sparingly, because I don’t want to get banned and go through the hassle of getting a new account.

There are several ways to use this, you can bid on a large brand that has a lot of traffic, and only do it for 30 minutes or only in certain geographical areas. Be sure to exclude the location of your network, the location of the company owning the brand and possibly their advertising agency.

When I first did this i could not stop the campaign soon enough and made 500 in commissions in 30 minutes. Very suspicious, but I got away with it.

Also, big companys often monitor ads very closely or use software to monitor them. Only run your ads in the late evening or on the weekends.

The other, safer method is to bid on smaller company brands, since they are generally not able to monitor the search network so closely.

——————————————————————————

As I said in the beginning this is extremely profitable.

The cool thing is that your advertising costs will be almost zero, since technically it should not be possible for you to bid on these terms and you will only be bidding against the brand owners inhouse advertising team or their agency.

I usually bid fairly high, like 4,97 per click and I will use position bidding on position 1. And I will only pay 0,01 to 0,05 per click.

——————————————————————————

One last word: Don’t use this for ringtones, or weigthloss or anything fishy that could trigger a manual review of your campaign. Also if your Ads get rejected for some reason, don’t re-submit them as this could also trigger a manual review.

——————————————————————————

Important Additional Information!

I just realized that I forgot something vital:

When setting up your Ad Text you will first do a search for the term you want to bid on and look at the Ads the company/agency is running.

Then you will copy the Ads of the company/agency exactly.

This way, if they check Google, they will not realize that there is your Ad being displayed unless they click on it.

his is my detailed report on www.craigslistemailer.com (aff-link). Im currently making $150/day with this method on average. I started with this in the beginning of January and since my first test already made me some money, i decided to go for it. This was my first post back then.

It seems Craigslistemailer is not very well known yet and it should stay this way. If this gets too saturated, it wont work anymore. I would not tell you about this, if i wasnt sure that i can trust you guys on this.
So use it but dont tell everyone.

What is Craigslistemailer

I guess, everybody knows CL. If not, check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craigslist

Craigslist has lots and lots of users and ads – there are hundreds of thousands ads posted everyday. And most of them either want to give away something or are looking to get something. Now if you can fulfill the desire of the adposter with one of your affiliate offers, you gonna make money.

With Craigslistemailer you can super-target your audience, because you can filter ads that match a certain keyword or are in a certain category and then write all those people an email which fulfills their desire. The cool thing: Craigslistemailer does both the searching for ads and the sending of emails. You dont have to bother about mass sending of mails, because Craigslistemailer will do that for you.

Craigslistemailer will you give 200 credits free when you sign up, that means you can send 200 e-mails for free. After that you have to buy Credits, prices ranging between $0.007 and $0.049 per credit. If you sign up under my aff-link at www.craigslistemailer.com, youll get an extra 100 credits after the signup process.

Real life example

Ill give you an real-life example, actually this is one is making me around 30$/day. Its the classic Free baby stuff.
I target every ad in the category wanted that contains the word baby. Most of them are looking for baby stuff. You could geo-target your users if you wanted to, but in this case I just target all US-users.
Now Craigslistemailer automatically browses CL and picks out all the ads that match my specifications. Then, it will send an email to each and everyone who posted one of these ads. In this case, there are about 250 mails going out every day (250 ads matching my criteria).

This is the mail they get from me:

Code:

Hello,

I just saw your ad on craigslist and wanted to send you a link where i got free stuff for our baby, shes just a few weeks old
At www.free-thing.com i got diapers and a baby care package for free – i guess you know how expensive these things can get…

I wish you all the best for your little one!

Now some curious ones click the link, go to my site, fill out the offer and make me some money. The offer they get comes from Hydra Network. I had an ad rotator at first to test different offers and the current one seemed to perform best, so i killed all the other ones.

I did recommend P202 countless times on BHU already, but i do it again: Prosper202 is a free tracking solution and it has an built-in ad rotator. Get it at http://prosper202.com/apps/
I use it for all tracking purposes and of course also with this CL-method.

Craigslistemailer gives you the option of HTML-emails. I did not use this yet, because i think HTML mails with banners and images are really looking spammy. But who knows, maybe they like this too.

Build an e-mail list

Now comes another cool part: if you look at www.free-thing.com youll see an opt-in form on the top (this site has 2 frames, the opt-in on top and the actual offer on the bottom). You wont believe it, but i get around 20-40 subscribers to this list everyday! So after they fill in the first offer, i can send them even more offers via my e-mail list. For my e-mail list i use www.aweber.com as autoresponder ($19/month).

Dont understimate this part! A list lasts much longer than a single offer and you can make money many times on one e-mail address. If you think: yeah, I’m gonna do this list-thingy someday, i only can tell you: do it now!

Getting your Mails through to the user

The most important thing is this: you must make that sure your e-mails get through to the recipient. Sooner or later, somebody will flag your e-mail as spam, then CL will check this mail and put some keywords on their blacklist, meaning that future mails containing these keywords will be blocked and not be delivered. Most of the time, CL will ban URLs in your mails.

In the above Free baby stuff example, my domain free-thing.com got banned after two days or so. I did not know that at this time but only regocnized a certain drop down of income. It took me some time to figure out, what was causing this – i hope these instructions will save you some time.

So CL blacklisted my domain free-thing.com. This was a big problem for me, because i didnt want to buy new domains all the time. My current solution is to use URL-shorteners. I personally use www.tiny.cc. You can make your custom alias, e.g. www.tiny.cc/babystuff. CL still will ban this keyword at some point, but they only will ban your custom alias (in this case babystuff ) and not the domain. So you just have to change your URLs from www.tiny.cc/babystuff to www.tiny.cc/freebabystuff or www.tiny.cc/yourbabystuff . I dont know why they just dont ban the whole domain tiny.cc, they just dont do it. Good for us.

Okay, but how do you know if your keyword got banned? Thats easy: you just post an ad on CL yourself. Then you get a specific e-mail alias like xyz-123456301@craigslist.org and you just send yourself the exact message including your URL. If this mail gets through – cool. If not, you have to change your URLs. I use www.note2email.com/write to send these e-mails because its anonymous and i dont have to use one of my own addresses for this purpose.

To be able to post on CL you need an PVA (phone verified account). If you dont have one, you can make one or, far more comfortable, just buy one. I always buy mine at BHW from Realign02, i can recommend his service. One PVC costs $5, you can use this as long as you want. Your ad will be on CL for about one week, i just trash my PVA after that and get a new one, just to be safe.

E-Mail Accounts

You will need a decent amount of different e-Mail Accounts to use with Craigslistemailer. One account can send around 250 Mails per day, but you should have as many as you can get. I have around 100 accounts. I personally only use GMail, because its easy to get them. There are 3 options:
You make them yourself using GMaker, you can get it a few sites google it.
You can buy them. I recommend http://accountsuperstore.weebly.com/ 1000 GMail Accounts for $45
You can buy them directly at Craigslistemailer. Thats the most convenient option. One Accounts costs 10 Credits, that means between $0,07 and 0,49$, depending on how many Credits you buy.

Campaigns and E-Mail Templates

In Craigslistemailer you have Campaigns, e-mail accounts and e-mail templates. A Campaign is the filter, which finds your targeted users. The e-mail accounts are the accounts that send out your mails. The e-mail templates are the text copies. You can assign more than one templates to a campaign, this will rotate them evenly. Same goes for e-mail accounts.

Regarding the e-mail Accounts: You should make sure that you always have an real name, not just sdfz234@gmail.com, names are much better. If creating Gmail-Accounts with Craigslistemailer you can choose to make a random name, thats fine.

Affiliate Networks and offers

At first i just went for lower price offers, like email-submits for $1 or $1.5. My current cash cow is making me $22 and this converts at around 5%. My best converting offer is $9 at a conversion rate of 30%. Thats true: 30%! The problem is, i cant scale this up, because there are not enough ads on CL. Too bad.

You just have to test and test. Throw and stick, whatever you call it. Test until you find a converting offer. And try to think outside the box. The baby stuff example is an obvious one, try to think of something more creative.

Regarding the networks, I had good success with Hydra and affiliate.com and already received payment from both. I had no (and i mean absolutely no) success with Clickbank, i tried 4 different offers, they just did not convert.

Just recently I figured a few ways of installing an exe for a campaign, like a click per access campaign and then doing a drive-by install and getting paid for that person installing your exe…. well ..

Ive figured it out, How it works is via local exploits, that I found on Milworm, like the old dcom exploits it was able for people to backdoor a user and then install an exe onto thier system.. simular to my method. I have tried the pdf exploit, which you can set using usescape chars to your exe link which will install silently on someones machine.. but that will bound to be patched soon adobe are pretty much on the ball with security updates unless I find another flaw in thier code.

Another remote exe or Drive-by install would be using php scripts with iframes in iframes ect.. well it is possible via certain scripts. The script I managed to get hold of are hard to find from some Russian Hackers using these to backdoor and Phish a system. Since exploits has been patched most didnt work, or failed due to cross browsers.. so I managed to modify the code and work on my own script, all is working well, however I need more of a bulletproof code to secure the script and its method.

I will keep this post updated.

Technique description: Single Keyword Sniping means creating an entire website with the purpose of ranking number one in Google for only one particular keyword.

The aim of the technique is to create small websites that bring you a completely whitehat autopilot income from advertising without having to create new content for the websites or promote them in any way. These are simply set-and-forget income streams.

Estimated average income: 100-500$ per month per website. You should start with a minimum batch of 10 websites which will lead you to an estimative income of 1000-5000$ per month. Actual figures depend on the type of keywords you decide to pursue, I have had a single keyword sniping website earning me well over 1000$ per month, but I do not bother creating websites that earn me less than 100$ per month.

Estimative time frame: You will achieve success somewhere between 2 weeks and several months, depending on the keyword you chose, sandbox issues, use of aged or new domains, your potential for building links, etc… This is a long-term whitehat income method.

Starting costs involved:

- Poor man version: No starting costs required, you will build your sites on free blogger platform(blogspot.com, blogs, etc.) and you will build all your links by hand.

- Struggling entrepreneur version: 10$ for a domain (per year, or even less if you go for an info domain) and 5$ per month for a small plan hosting. You will build your websites on general sub-domains site1.mydomain.com, site2.mydomain.com, site3.mydomain.com, site4.mydomain.com etc…

- Normal entrepreneur version: 100$ for ten domains and a 10$ per month hosting should be enough.

- Smart entrepreneur version: 100$ for ten domains, a 10$ per month hosting, and a couple hundreds of $ for outsourcing work and buying links.

The method consist of 3 steps:

1. Keyword research – choosing your keyword

2. Website creation (including on page seo and monetization)

3. Link building

1. Keyword research

The advantage of single keyword sniping over traditional long tail keyword theory is that while your competitors usually optimize one page for a certain long tail keyword, you optimize your entire website, therefore having a huge advantage in terms of links, trust rank and authority. It is much easier to rank an entire website for a particular long tail keyword than to rank a page.

That being said, the keyword you choose to optimize for should have 3 important characteristics:

a)-a nice amount of searches per month
b)-low competition
c)-potential for monetization

a) A nice amount of searches per month

In my opinion, the best tool that estimates the monthly number of searches for a given keyword is this one (it’s free):

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

When analyzing your results, under the “match type” field you need to choose the “exact match” option. For keyword sniping, this reflects the best the amount of visitors you should expect (for an explanation of the meaning of the match type, please see this link https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=6324&ctx=tltp)

In addition to the number of searches provided by the keyword tool, you should expect 30% more visitors, based on my statistics. These will come from various long tails, misspells, keyword tool inaccuracy, etc…

A decent volume of monthly traffic is anything between 2000 and 20 000 searches per month for a keyword sniping website.

b) Low competition

I would love to tell you that in order to asses your competition all you have to do is search your keyword in Google in commas, find the number of competing pages, and draw conclusion from there, but, unfortunately, this is a flawed concept. It does not matter whether there are 100 000 pages or 1 million competing for a particular keyword, it matters the quality of these competitors. When assessing your competition, you should look only at the top 3 results. Since your purpose is getting the number one position, all you need to do is to create a better site that the one found at the top for that particular keyword, and you will bypass all the other millions of competing pages found behind.

This is the raw click distribution in serps:

Number 1 – 58.36%
Number 2 – 13.45%
Number 3 – 9.82%
Number 4 – 4.00%
Number 5 – 4.73%
Number 6 – 3.27%
Number 7 – 0.36%
Number 8 – 2.91%
Number 9 – 1.45%
Number 10 – 2.55%

As you can see, if you can not achieve tops position, you should not even bother creating the website. Actually I would say that if you can’t achieve the number one position, due to the fact that is occupied by an authority website in that niche, you should not start building a website around that particular keyword. The keyword sniping philosophy is created around gaining the number one position and benefiting from the flow of traffic.

There are advanced seo tools that can analyze your competition backlinks- like seo elite- but there are also free firefox plugins that can do the job for free. Two of such plugin are “seo for firefox” and “seo quake”. You can download them for free here:

http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/seo-for-firefox.html

http://ff.seoquake.com/

These plugins will instantly show the number of pages, links, page rank, age of the domain, etc… of your competitors in search with a simple click.

As a rule of thumb, you should avoid competing against websites that have a pr bigger than 4, and do not even think to compete against sites that have site links under them in serps. This means in most of the cases that they are already established in that niche and it will take a while before you can overcome them. The roi might not compensate for the effort.

c) Potential for monetization

Most of the keyword sniping philosophy is based on gaining quality traffic from search engines and monetizing it with adsense or other affiliates products. When you choose your keyword, you should ideally aim for a high paying adsense niche, or a niche that has plenty of other streams of monetization – cpa offers, affiliate products, etc… It is not worth the effort to go for the classic 1 cent adsense clicks niches with this strategy – like celebrities, music, movies, etc…

You should also avoid tech savvy niches and go for non tech savvy niches. Savvy users do not click ads- usually the ctr in adsense in under 2-3%, while with non savvy users you can get ctr as high as 10-20% regularly. Do not think line an entrepreneur, think like a normal Joe when brainstorming your niches.

You can see approximately the value of your clicks in adsense by using the above mentioned Google keyword tool and selecting the “show average cpc” option. You will get somewhere between 20%-40% of the value mentioned there.

Once you have decided upon a keyword, and you have analyzed the traffic and your competition, it is time to create your website and start optimize it. If you are new, and never done any kind of seo before, i think you should start with some easy keywords, nothing that have much competition. This will allow you to conquer these positions easily, and you will gain confidence for more competitive keywords later on. Keyword sniping is an excellent way to learn the ropes of keyword, research, content creation, and link building, even if you are a total newbie.

It is also highly recommended that you start to build around 5-10 websites at once. Building a website, then waiting for several weeks or months to gain results, and then starting to build the second one is not an efficient way of doing things. You ll probably waste a year before having 10 websites in serps already bringing you cash using the one-after-the-other option, when you can have them in less than 2 months if you choose the bulk strategy.

Also, having a larger number of websites is also a way to protect you in case one of your keyword sniping websites do not perform as expected, gets sandboxed, or your competitions proves to be more competitive than you expected. By having 5-10 such websites, you diversify your income streams, and even if one of your website does not perform well at a certain moment, you can rely on the income coming from your other websites.

2) Building your website

- Domain name selection

If you do not have money to invest in buying domains and a hosting, then you could use the free blogger alternative. Blogger is a service offered by Google that allows you to create unlimited blogs, free of charge, and – unlike other similar alternatives- you can monetize the blogs and keep all 100% of the revenue produced. Your subdomain will look something like: chosenname.blogspot.com.

If you chose to opt for a domain, keep in mind that serps are not influenced by the top level domain you choose, and there is no difference between a subdomain and a domain.

The advantage of having your own domain is – among others- that you can sell it later down the road, for a nice chunk of money, especially if your keyword sniping website is bringing you a nice recurring income.

Your domain or subdomain should contain the keyword you try to optimize for, this is a must. The presence of the keywords in the domain name is a crucial factor in getting good positions, especially for long tail keywords.

You should also pay attention at keyword density in title. Something like keyword.com is more valuable than keywordblablabla.com.

-Website creation

The easiest way of creating your keyword sniping websites is using the wordpress platform.

Ideally, your website should consist of 5-10 articles, 600 words long, and having a keyword density of 2-3%. All the content on your blog should be original, so no scraped or auto generated content. This will help you with avoiding sandbox, getting ranked, and establishing a whitehat income- no fear of getting banned from adsense or search engines.

Every one of your articles should link back to your main page using the keyword you target as an anchor text. This link back should preferably be found in the introductory paragraph – whenever someone scrapes your content – or the rss feed – automatically it will create a backlink to you.

Other than that, the blog should have a basic on site seo optimization – se friendly permalinks, avoiding duplicate content, etc…

(If you have never done basic seo on a wordpress blog, check this article for a general idea, or ask for help in the forum http://yoast.com/articles/wordpress-seo/)

Getting double listings in Google:

A double listing appears in most of the cases when two pages of the same website rank on the first page of Google for a given particular keyword.

Google serps therefore merge those two pages, upping the lower page at the level of your upper page, and offering you more exposure with a double listing.

Double listing allows you to fill 2 positions with your website for a particular keyword, and obviously, is a huge advantage in terms of getting traffic.

In order to benefit from this, you should also create an article on your website that has the title exactly the keyword your optimizing from. If your domain is keyword.com, you should obtain the second listing with the article keyword.com/keyword.html Make sure to interlink those two pages, keyword.com linking back to keyword.com/keyword.html with the anchor text required and vice versa. Once you will send some backlinks to these pages, you will get a double listing.

3) Getting backlinks

This is the most important part that can influence your success. Whoever gets the most quality targeted links, conquer the serps, there is no doubt about that.

But first, several aspect regarding the quality and type of backlinks you need.

-You aim for backlinks that have your targeted keyword as the anchor text. However, variations of the anchor text is an important issue, getting plenty of links with the same anchor text is called Google bombing and can result in your website being sandboxed or penalized.

If your targeted keyword consists of 3 words, “word1 word2 word3″ your anchor text variations should look like “word 1 word 2″, then “word 2 word 3″ and then ” word 1 word 3″, and most of the links, obviously “word 1 word 2 word 3″.

If your targeted keyword consists of only 2 words, then you need to vary your anchor text by adding other related words, like “word 1 word 2 blablabla” or “blablabla word 1 word 2″.

- An influx of low quality backlinks over a short period of time – several hundred links in a matter of days is detrimental to your optimization, and usually leads to a penalty if you are using them on a new domain. Make sure to build links at a steady pace, and in the beginning try to throw in several authority links to avoid getting sandboxed.

- Between site wide and single page links, try to opt for single page links, they are more valuable.

- A backlink coming from a niche related website is far more valuable than a backlink coming from an unrelated website, even if it has a pr of 0.

- You should focus also on building deeplinks, not only home page links. A good percent is 80% home page links, 20% deeplinks.

Building links:

Specific details for link building are to be discussed in the forums, i will just list some general guidelines. I usually classify links according to their quality in two main category:

Level 0 Backlinks: pr 0 links, usually placed on newly created pages, not much of link juice. You should get hundred of such links to make a difference, but they do have their role. Example of sources for level 0 backlinks:

- Social bookmarking. You can automate building these kinds of links with the following websites – for free.

http://www.onlywire.com

http://www.socialposter.com

- Forum posting links – please check the forum for the invisible backlinks trick and for do follow forums

- Blog commenting on do follow blogs

- Directory submission – become obsolete later, but if you do not have any other source of links, you could give it a try. Here is a good list of directories sorted according to their page rank: addurl.nu

- Article Marketing : can be done manually or automated. More tips about this will be posted in the forum.

- Blog farming and parasite hosting links

Level 1 Backlinks: These are usually high quality links, high page rank links, that have a nice pr juice and can influence your serps significantly.

- Link exchange. When done properly, they could be a gold mine, since you can decide on what anchor text you want, and you will have your backlink placed wherever you want, usually on a related page. Exchanging links with a related website can be done two ways. Exchanging links with a non related website should be done three ways or more, in order to avoid detection.

- Buying links. Try to avoid classic networks such as text links ads or tnx.net as Google seems to detect and penalize them. Use direct links brokers, found in webmasters forums.

- Miscellaneous Links. Other innovative way of getting high pr links, such as the fake identity exploit posted in the blog previously

Recently I managed to go on Xrumer 5.0 Pallladium , what a tool I must say, previously I have used xrumer 2.9 and xrumer 3 with small success however this tool kicks ass. To be warned for people thinking of buying, make sure you get a dedicated server.. this tools takes up all my bandwidth and resources.. however I use to let it run over night.

The only problem with the tool is it seems a touch complicated, but its worth it, you can get thousands of backlinks in a short period of time.

PRStorm is another good program, I have been using this for years for backlinks and use google to search for awstats then use prstorm to spam the awstats and get quick backlinks, a definate program for a few site that needs the links
