There are a number of uses for this script, but the most obvious would be to pinpoint which merchants to stuff on your BH websites. This takes all the guesswork out of the equation and allows the average BHer to stuff CPA programs outside of the obvious *** and Amazon networks. Real Life Example of use: You start yourwebsite.com. After a few months your site receives a nice amount of steady traffic and your curious as to what sort of items/services your visitors are interested in. You obviously try ***/Amazon, but your visitors dont seem to convert too well with these popular programs. You proceed to some of the more popular affiliate networks like CJ, Linkshare, Shareasale, and Hydra to name a few and start look under the keywords Home Decoration, Home Renovations, and Home Design. Merchants are displayed and you compile a list of the more popular ones into Notepad. You then proceed to install SpyJax on yourwebsite.com and add your list of merchants to the program. The javascript is posted on your site and you wait a week or two results. Viola.your SpyJax reports show that Merchant A has 412 previous visits which is 56% of your traffic and Merchant B has 312 which is 35% of your visits. There are 2 clear winners!! Time to stuff! Delete your list or keep compiling data over time. Wash, Rinse, and Repeat with other merchants in the future you think may drive extra $$$$. UPDATE: USE the GOOGLE API feature on this program to compile MASSIVE lists of merchants that would take you hours to add manually for use with more broader sites. Edit the config.php file: $google_api_key = "your_google_api_key"; and input your Google API in order to have this feature active. INSTALLATION: * Create a database and import Spyjax.sql into it. * Change the database name, user, and passwords on the following files: install.php, config.php, database.php, and urls.php. * Open spyjax.js and change: server: http://yourwebsitehere.com/spyjax/ * Upload files to www.yourwebsite.com/spyjax/ * Go to www.yourwebsite.com/install.php and if there is a BLANK screen, it is installed properly. Proceed to www.yourwebsite.com/spyjax and create your user email and password. * Once Logged in, go to Add URLs and compile your list of merchants or whatever websites you would like to check. * Final step: Go to the Dashboard and post the javascript under Install SpyJax on your Site to the pages you want to track visitors from, just above the tag. FINAL NOTES: **This great piece of software was originally created by Kevin Lang at BetaMarketing software in 2007 and was made Open Source. Since then, the script has been modified, deconstructed and corrected by my programmers to work more fluidly and without errors. |

Remove first line of header.php that calls the original plugin from theme editor. 5. Change header.php back to 644 6. Go to settings of CPA Redirector. All of mine have kept the affiliate codes associated with there posts. The only thing I needed to reenter was the magic word. All done. This is assuming that you had modified the classes.php file correctly in the past. If you did then all is good. If not then read the original pdf with the classes.php modification it is still the same. Note: if you followed the above steps and get this error: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/articles/public_html/index.php:2) in /home/articles/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cparedirector3.php on line 73 You just need to reload the original header file for your Wordpress theme.
