Getting Foreign Bank Accounts – for Affiliates
I once needed this for getting a USA Ebay network pay per click account, I could of added funds via paypal but my paypal was tied up as usual so I needed funds to a bank account as we all do.
The Thing Ive learned is its pretty easy to get a bank account abroad. It also Helps if you use the native toungue, i.e I speak fluent German so I have been with a german bank Commerzbank for awhile now. Anyways here the method:
You need to contact a bank that either operates internationally or is internationally friendly – few banks are. However HSBC is in almost every country in the world and they’ll give you an account anywhere.
1. Call up their foreign bank account department and tell them you’d like to open an account in the US, or UK or wherever.
2. Once you receive the forms (3-7 days) fill them out, and get them notarized by a lawyer, notary or bank (rarely do they do this). Cost $15-hundreds (lawyers)
2b. If you have a local HSBC branch you can fill out the paperwork their and they will stamp it for you.
3. Send it in, call them to let them know you sent it and want status updates and wait. This will take 2-4 weeks.
4. They send you your account information, debit card (if requested), and check books.
5. Also try to get an Internet Login if your bank supports it.and your done.
