I recently Got asked to do some seo work on a websites that has a great Niche and is #1 already on google. But they wanted more hits, and the site was a strong PR3 so I got my tools out and did a report. In Fact it was not the sites SEO it was the layout and design which was not user friendly and had text links, just plain ugly. So Now I do reports for people who want them for thier website’s and here is my suggestions.

#1 Get your Keywords and meta Tags sorted, make sure you check them in your Index and a good place to check keyword ranking I would try https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal

#2 Make sure your Niche Is the best, Have unique content, the search engine algorythm loves unique content make sure you tag whe relevant information.

#3 Validate your HTML , search engines cannot crawl your site if your site is a bag of balls. Try to keep it like this:

#4 Get as Many Backlinks as possible, I personally do 1 to 1 hardlinks with simular sites, PRStorm and xrumer. Using tools like this I have managed with seo to gain 2600 backlinks on sexaddicts.us within 3 weeks.

#5 Overall Keep it Unique Content

My Mind was running overtime with the first on these tweaks posts.. so I though I would continue and add some more of my personal methods. I recently checked my old domain of backlinks.. it seems over 1000 of them are my amazon affiliate shop linked with my site. I have never bought or recieved from the domain which is attached to amazon, basically I cannot be bothered with it, however the links are strong and worth taking up five miutes of your time.

Secondly Twitter.. it seems the world it twitter mad.. Ive made over 9600 posts catch me on spyboy73 all my blogs are linked to twitter, for every post I make on a blog they automatically send via a script to my twitter which in-turn gives me links on twitter to create great backlinks nad making my position stronger in the search engines.

Blogger is a site I have also used for a gamesite I owned , gameglitch made a very quick pr2 I put as usual latest posts in announcements on the forums, and also in my blog on blogger, the results was great again improving the stats on seo.

Always go for a secondary site its great if you can link directly, at times I have used sites such as digg to gain more populatity.

Also try W3optimizer. Basicly is a tool that study your site with your keywords and tells you the optimization percentage of your site.

I inserted my site thinking it would not teach me anything new. When I saw my site had 85% I was very happy and I read the rest. In fact my site was overoptimized, very spammy full of my only keyword everywhere.

I also discovered my Wordpress theme had 2 H1 tags: One of them in the logo image and the other with “Recent Articles”, so it was a little bit useless. If you want to follow me the theme is the pink OneTheme 1.1.3, althought they have solve in this new version you can see what I am talking about looking in the source code.

I got finally a nice keyword density (Step H) but in Step K it told me I had repeated too much my keyword because in the first 500 visible characters you only have to put them twice. Viewing details I saw that my first 500 characters was:

Since I used the keyword in Site Name, Category, Post titles… it wasn’t natural to search engines.

Well, finally I got a 98% SEOed. I pinged my blog and after half an hour … Boom. I had my site ranking the first.

After this I searched a little more about On-site SEO but there isn’t an agreement about this, each person recommends different things. So I think, more that to blindly follow W3optimizer instructions I recommend it to test your themes to see if there isn’t hidden surprises and to check if you have used so much or few links, tags, etc. As we saw in Keyword Sniping method more than to stick to a rule we have to copy and optimize the characteristics of the site that is ranking the first.

RSS FEEDS is possibly one of the strongest methods, submitting your feeds via RSS sites puts your latest links and feeds on thier sites.. what more could you ask for ?
